Villa Indah Ubud

Beautiful view, very peaceful here. But if you want to use the amenities, you might have not as much luck. We only found 1 power point to be working, there were some wires sticking out of a hole in the wall which I assume was the cause of these broken power points. Broken phone, not much hot water (couldn't fill the bathtub even a quarter). We also had termites bad in our villa. As for the pros, the view was spectacular and the staff very friendly and helpful. I do not blame the staff for these shortfalls, but the owner needs to sink more money into the maintanace of this place. It seems to me like it was once a spectacular place to stay, but now is a little "tired"

Felt like we were in an abandoned resort. Pool area green and mossy, lots of leaves and sticks floating in pool. Phone disconnected in room. No one else there, except on our last day. We asked to have day bed set up for one of us to sleep in, that wasnt done. Bed was huge though so didnt matter. Views are spectacular. Building going on right next door and we were feeling a bit nervous about villa being stable, it's right on the edge of huge cliff, lucky next door dont use machinery. Long way into town, have to use taxis which are more expensive in Udud. At least 80,000 each way.

We stayed in two different villas here and as much as we like being beside the reception area for lack of stair climbing with a baby and having Aircon etc there was extremely poor wifi if any at all. However we moved to another villa down a couple flights of big uneven concrete stairs parallel to the pool and the view became stunning of the mountains and wifi unbeatable and the breeze with the overhead fan made it more then comfortable at night. Breakfast was soooo good with room service options and massage in room etc you can't live much better than this (well minus a few bugs maybe) One negative is I never got to enjoy the pool as it was quite dirty/slimy looking despite actually seeing staff clean it. I think it needs to emptied scrubbed and refilled. The frogs like it at night tho
