Great hotel nice a quiet off the road staff allways friendly food is fresh

The quality is right for the price. Despite being in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Kuta Beach, the hotel was very quiet. The facilities are quite old and seem to be about 40 years old, but I feel like they have been well maintained. The only drawback was that the bath & toilet was flooded because the type of room I booked did not have a tub in the bathroom (although that would dry out in half a day). Towels are bath towels only, no telephone in each room, etc., sometimes I think, but not so inconvenient. Is it correct to organize and cut unnecessary items to keep the price low? Most of the guests are non-English-speaking families from Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and East Asia (no Japanese). The staff were all young and friendly.

The only positive thing about this hotel might be the staff. The hotel is quite old, and no one bothers to maintain it. I walked into my room and was horrified by how dirty everything was—the dishes, the bed linen, the walls, the toilet—all covered in old stains. Moreover, my room didn't have a balcony, and the windows didn't open (my reservation stated a balcony). Thanks to the staff, they changed my room, but it didn't make it any cleaner. I simply left my keys at the reception and went to another hotel nearby. It's a shame that with such a beautiful grounds, the management doesn't care about sanitary standards.
