Picturesque and serene grounds, a delightful respite from the busy main road. A quiet and intimate hotel with daily yoga and a lovely outdoor spa. The pool area and restaurant is very beautiful and you instantly feel like you are on holiday. This hotel is directly across from the Intercontinental and cheaper. A shuttle is provided for easy access to the beach. Suggest choosing your room carefully. The Plantation Suite windows opened out into the restaurant and so there was either no privacy or a very dark room. Suggest a room on the second floor or one overlooking the pool

We have just returned from 9 blissful nights staying in this hidden gem. The location is 15 or 20 minutes from the airport so very handy. The atmosphere is one of complete relaxation, very quiet and intimate. The rooms are all different and each one is an individual experience. The facilities are perfect with 3 pools, a day spa, dining and bar, lounge areas, seating on the lawn under the trees. It has it all. We had a movie night, some Balinese dancers and a couple of fire pits to sit around. The property is extremely clean and the staff are amazing. Great value for money. Plenty around off the premises to enjoy or explore and a joy to return to the serenity of Balquisee.

A wonderful address with fabulous decor. Each room, each space is unique. Service and dining that live up to expectations. In short, an absolute flawless experience. Bravo!!
