We are staying in a deluxe villa at the moment and we are thrilled Villa is large with all facilities and our own private sparkling pool. In addition to our pool there is a beautiful pool over looking the ocean with magnificent sunsets. Staff are realy friendly and breakfast is supperb.

Upon arrival at the "wrong" side to check in. No one was present here so after 15 minutes looking for staff who could help us. There was eventually someone at the bar who was too busy with his phone who called a receptionist to speak to us. At the right check-in desk we had to grab our welcome drink ourselves. Only to be taken to the villa with 2 bedrooms and a private pool. We needed an extra bed this was me a living room placed where there were not even curtains that could be closed. The bed itself was an iron frame with a mattress. If you wanted to turn around on this, the whole frame creaked and moved back and forth. Furthermore, there were many defects in the villa itself. See attached photos. Of the 5 days we were there we spent 2 days looking for a suitable solution to the problems in the villa. In the end, because there was no other solution, we had to stay here. The staff really did their best and have given us a small concession in the form of free dinner. The hotel also managed to tell us that they had their own shuttle service to Bali back instead of the big fastboat. This was very nice. In the end we made something of it ourselves but are extremely disappointed that we did not get what we were promised. And were really looking forward to this. And extra days booked to unwind. So I'd think hard about booking here. So it's not a bad resort but not what's promised

Excellent location and would have been great in its day. The resort needs a complete renovation. Tiles missing in our private pool leading to cut feet, moldy timber and walls, gaps in the roof letting mosquitos into the room and waiting an hour for check-in even though it was the resort who organised our transfer and therefore had our exact arrival time of 3pm. Not being offered coffee or tea at breakfast is inexcusable. Being one of the more expensive options on the island we expected much more. The only reason I have given two stars is the location. You can do much better for less!!
