The Segara Condotel

I booked a room for 3 nights in this hotel for my parents that travel by themself for their second honeymoon but they only stay for 1 night, because the room is so different with the picture. They get small room with no terrace and no hot water. They move them to other room that bigger but no air conditioner. It like killing to be at the beach without air conditioner at all. So my parents decide to back to the first room so at least they can sleep. Both of my parent get cold and headache that night and can't have a shower. I call the hotel because worried about my parents and talk to the reception Delvin, I told him that my parents will be check out early morning because the hotel so uncomfortable and 100 percent different with the picture that made me book the hotel for them. I ask Delvin to refund our money in cash and he agreed at the night by phone.BUT.... at the time we check out they made up a lot of reason to refund the money in cash, and end up to refund by our local bank without any specific time when we will got our money. This experience is the worst and I feel sad that my parents can't enjoy their holiday and became sick at Bali. I strongly not recommended this hotel for anyone. This hotel is not 4 star hotel at all, it is located in very small street and hard to find.

These rooms are a little out of the way, but if you are wanting to relax in style then this is the place. Very small complex and you are made to feel very special. This hotel is located right on the beach where all the water activities take place in Tanjung Benoa. It is great to sit on the balcony and just watch it all happening. Great for family with kids because of the room, but there are no kids activities - so keep this in mind.

I gave Segara Suites 2 stars. But one if them was purely for value as they cost 1/3 of the rate of nearby resorts. The place is run down, badly constructed and generally dirty. None of the up market fittings, like the spa, actually worked. The staff were friendly but the food very average. There are plenty of eateries within walking distance and some had free transport. The location is OK but noisy with all the watersports and half the population of China rudely pushing in, pushing past or generally being annoying. But this is Bali wide now. So, ignore the photos. If it is cheap you want Segara will do. If it is a resort experience go elsewhere.
