Pradha Villas Seminyak

⭐ 1 star – ABSOLUTE DISASTER! BEWARE UPON DEPARTURE! ⚠️ We travel a lot and have already experienced countless hotels and villas all over the world. However, what happened to us at the Pradha Villas Seminyak is something we have never experienced before. This accommodation was not only a disappointment for us, but it ended upon departure in a situation that really scared us. We booked the accommodation because of the many "positive" reviews. Today we seriously ask ourselves how these reviews come about. The first disappointment came right at check-in: Our villa was not ready or cleaned by the agreed-upon check-in time. We had to wait over an hour longer before we could finally enter our accommodation. Then the next shock: The villa did not match the pictures on the website at all. It was clearly worn out and made an unkempt impression. The pool was dirty and smelled extremely strongly of chemicals. Towels and bed linens were musty and also did not make a clean or fresh impression. The breakfast was abysmal for us and inedible. We have rarely experienced such poor quality in this price range. We were also barely able to enjoy the much-advertised privacy. Staff came by several times a day: To bring breakfast, to pick it up hours later, to clean the villa, and to spray for insects again in the evening. For us, that had nothing to do with relaxation and privacy, but was simply annoying and disruptive. 🚨 THE ABSOLUTE HIGHLIGHT: THE DEPARTURE However, what happened at departure overshadowed everything else. My husband had gotten a tattoo at the end of our vacation. To avoid staining the regular bed linens, we explicitly asked the staff for an old towel or an old bed sheet. This was provided to us and used exactly for that purpose. Upon departure, we properly returned our keys to the reception. The employee wanted to briefly inspect the villa. Afterward, she came back and suddenly claimed that towels and bed sheets were dirty. We explained to her multiple times that we had specifically received old towels and an old bed sheet and had used them exactly for that purpose. However, a reasonable discussion was not possible. The situation escalated. A security guard was called in, and in our perception, we were refused permission to leave the premises. We could not simply leave, even though we already had to be on our way to the airport. We explained multiple times that we had to catch our flight. Apparently, that did not interest anyone. We were prevented from leaving the premises for over 30 minutes. The situation became increasingly threatening for us. We became afraid and eventually both screamed because we had to leave urgently and no one responded to our request. Honestly: Since when is it normal, please, for a guest not to be allowed to leave upon departure? We felt like we were being held and pressured. For us, this was no longer a discussion about a dirty towel or a bed sheet – it was about the fact that we wanted to leave the accommodation and were prevented from doing so. For us, this was one of the worst and most frightening situations we have ever experienced on our travels. ❌ OUR CONCLUSION Run-down villa. Dirty pool. Musty towels and bed linens. Inedible breakfast. Constant disturbances despite alleged privacy. And as an absolute low point, a massively escalated situation at departure, where we felt threatened and prevented from leaving the accommodation. It is completely incomprehensible to us how this accommodation can receive so many positive reviews. We absolutely cannot recommend the Pradha Villas Seminyak. On the contrary: We would strongly advise anyone who values cleanliness, service, respect, and above all, normal and safe treatment upon departure, to look for another place to stay. For us, this accommodation was the worst end to an otherwise wonderful Bali vacation. 0 stars would be our rating – unfortunately, you have to give at least one star. ⭐

Proper management & clean privacy environment. Easy to walk by to beach nearby or even foodie exploring around. Time well spent & enjoyed.

I stayed here for six nights for a get away with my daughter. We loved this villa! Fantastic location. Amazing selection of breakfast that was prepared and delivered at your time of request. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff were so friendly. The only fault I could say, which was not the villas fault, but the music every night from the adjacent restaurant was considerably loud, but seemed to stop around 10-10.30pm. It didn't bother us enough to complain but we were aware of this. The villa was clean, great size pool, bedroom and bathroom. Would definitely stay here again, thank you
