Casa Ganesha Hotel

We were not impressed when we turned up and the lock to the outside shower leading to the room was broken however the staff dealt with it well and we moved rooms straight away. Aside from the staff being very friendly, I wouldn’t stay here again. Rooms weren’t particularly clean and there were ants all over our bathroom floor. The WiFi didn’t work and it was difficult to sleep at night given the noisy air con (which didn’t do anything because it was positioned around the corner from the main area of the room), the persistent light coming into the room from the outside lamp and bathroom light which did not switch off. The swimming pool area was not pleasant with only two sun loungers and looked dirty so we did not use the pool at all - we didn’t see anyone using the pool the whole time we were there. Aside from this, the bed was comfy and the staff were friendly, although not English speaking. The price was good but I wouldn’t recommend staying here if the above would bother you.

The location is good because nearby in main road to Ubud. Nearby of hotel, you can find good food and some stuff. As budget hotel, facilities was complete i guess. No breakfast ! Staff is helpful. So, don’t expect more as budget hotel.

Worst food we’ve had in 3 months, completely messed up both our orders then charged 50,000 for a small cold portion of noodles and vegetables. After having to ask twice they brought us the prawn crackers which were meant to come with our dishes which were ridiculously stale. They’d ran out of some of the ingredients without telling us so the meals were so plain (despite being completely empty). Wish I could give 0 stars
