Suastika Bungalow

We stayed in Karang Mesari for a month. We had a beautiful, spacious room with a kitchenette and an open-air bathroom. We loved the garden full of frangipani flowers. The owners - Mrs Dearti & Mr Made were super friendly and very helpful in anything we needed so we were feeling like at home. The location was just perfect - only 5- minute walk to a local market to buy fruits and vegetables and 10 minutes to the Royal Palace in the city centre. We will definitely stay there again when we will be back to Ubud.

What a satisfied experience and nice place to stay in Ubud. I love the breakfast meals in this homestay anyway! Who cant ignore a plate of Omelatte and toastbread? Want in more.. So yummy!! *lol When i stay here, the treatment from Mr.Made's family is so kind and helpfull. Really enjoy it anyway.

We had the most amazing stay here in Ubud with this lovely family. They do absolutely everything they can in order to treat you like their family and do everything they can in order to help you. Our room was lovely, spacious room with air conditioning, a big four poster wooden bed, a sink and a grill in the room which is a good idea if you buy something from the local shop such as noodles and want to boil them for a cheap easy meal, a tv with a variety of movies if you want to watch them and have a relaxing early night - we didn't but it was nice to have this option, if we needed it. We had a bathroom with a sink, toilet, shower and a big bath. The bathroom could have just done with a little touch up as it was a bit dated. The breakfast was so lovely and fresh every morning, we had pineapple pancakes and fresh fruits every day that we stayed here and they were so tasty. We enjoyed eating this on the veranda every morning admiring the views of the lush flowers and trees surrounding us. It was very relaxing here and peaceful. Also, on the table outside there was a leaflet providing you with information about Bali and also providing you with things to do locally which was really helpful as well as tours. The lovely staff at the guesthouse were so helpful and when it was dark at night when we arrived late and wanted to go to the shop to get some food they provided us with torches as the road can be a little dark at night. Another thing the lovely staff did was provide us with umbrellas when it was raining which was very kind of them. Also, when we were looking through the booklet there was a tour that we wanted to do and we informed the staff and they helped us book it rang the company for us. They also rang us a taxi and helped with our cases.
