We stayed in Villa 3 which is about 300 metres from the main check in area, and it was perfect for a quiet stay in Ubud. The location is great because it’s close to the Monkey Forest but still tucked away in a peaceful pocket. You can walk to the busy part of town and the markets through a handy little pathway, so it feels like the best of both worlds. We even had a friendly monkey wander into our private pool area which was a fun surprise. We were there for three nights and had breakfast on two of the mornings. The selection is small but enough to choose from, and on the third morning we just felt like trying something different. The staff were fantastic. They were easy to communicate with on WhatsApp and made sure we were comfortable the whole time. We asked about tours at reception but ended up using Bluebird to get to the places we wanted to see. We would definitely stay at Ubud Wana Resort and Villas again. The quiet location, the villa setup and the lovely staff made it a great base for our time in Ubud.

We had a villa with pool. This is a 5 minute walk from the real hotel. But the suitcases will be brought and picked up for you. And in case of rain we were picked up (at 1.30 am!). Nice hotel with good breakfast. Also good service in helping book activities. Yeah. It sits next to monkey forest so an uninvited guest at lunch outside in the villa was also part of the experience. But this group of monkeys is basically not aggressive.

Welcoming, kind, and helpful staff. Spacious and comfortable room, with all useful amenities provided daily. The buffet food is sufficiently varied between local and international choices, and of good quality. There is guaranteed availability of drinking water dispensers, and the prices for any à la carte items are very good. However, an equally positive opinion cannot be given for the pools, which, despite being beautiful, had sunscreen used by guests stagnating on the surface in some areas, indicating poor water circulation that tended to stagnate in certain areas of the pool further away from the circulation inlets, a problem likely exacerbated by the evening shutdown of the pumps, outside of usage hours. The cleanliness of the loungers outside the balcony was poor, visibly dirty and with the presence of insects and ants. Recommended if the pool is not a priority; otherwise, it is better to look for something else.
