Villa Puri Darma Agung

Lovely quiet spot. The pool and garden is A lovely quiet spot. The pool area and gardens are gorgeous. It’s a beautiful area for walking. I also hired a moped for the 6 days I was there. Which was so fun and allowed for endless adventures.

We enjoyed our stay at the villa. The staff went above and beyond by cooking us breakfast, chatting with us,organizing day trips and providing transport into ubud. Be warned that this place is fairly remote and a decent drive from central ubud, with no shops or restaurants close to the villa. Which is perfect if you just want to relax away from the chaos of street traffic. You'll also find that google maps is wrong and this place is quite difficult to find. It took us a long time to find the villa. Some extra maintenance could send this place from a 3 to 5 star. We found the pool water a little murky, and our villa could use some touch ups. The outdoor bathroom is a great asset but smelt of foul water which stopped us from using the bath.

My cousin and I stayed here for around 4 nights. Barrry and his staff were incredible. They went out of their way to do anything for us! The morning staff that cooked breakfast were always so lovely. The communal areas and the bedroom was always clean! We couldn't thank them enough! I would definately recommended staying here! The only con during this stay was Nyoman the driver- on nuerous occasions he charged us an extortionate rate, so we ended up getting local taxis in the town for trips which charged us less than half the price! Apart from him, the stay here was brilliant and Barry is a great host!
