Wenara Bali Bungalow

Nice hotel located 2 steps from the monkey forest. Nice rooms, even if a little rustic. But the helpfulness of the staff compensates, very good breakfast included. Nice pool. The monkeys walk around the hotel, even if the staff try to keep them at bay. Nice experience to see the monkeys on your balcony in the morning, even if you should not leave anything lying around and close doors and windows well at the risk of having your things stolen!

Good location BUT if you don’t like monkeys this hotel is not for you as it will be your turn to live with them, They have a communication problem, some say one thing and then others, we ran out of a packed breakfast because “they fell asleep” the rooms very clean but sometimes we ran out of water and had to bathe with the toilet hose, on one occasion we could witness how the “manager or owner” screamed and treated super bad employees in the pool in front of everyone, which damaged the atmosphere and we felt that they did not deserve because they are super friendly ALMOST ALL, very little lighting in the night towards the rooms, breakfast included rich but basic, approx 5 options.

This place was epic!! Great breakfast, clean big rooms, comfy beds AND monkeys!! It was incredible we had no need to go to the monkey forest at all we what to watch them play all around us from our balcony and our windows even getting upclose to a few! The staff here are amazing so helpful and when the monkeys are out playing they keep a watchful eye the atar of the show is the pool its huge nice and cold and super clean! Really loved this place will absolutely stay again
