An extraordinary boutique hotel in the heart of Malang. The hotel feels more like a museum than a classic hotel – everywhere there are impressive antiques, artworks, and lovingly designed details to discover. We were particularly impressed by the beautiful garden and the countless bouquets of flowers, as well as the unique atmosphere. The service was excellent from check-in to departure: attentive, warm, and always professional. Anyone looking for a hotel with character instead of an anonymous hotel chain is exactly right here. Hotel Tugu is a place to enjoy, marvel, and relax. We would come back at any time!

Quaint hotel Comfortable beds. Good breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Clean. Located on town boulevade so can be a little noisy but didnt bother us. Complimentary tea and cakes around 5 pm.

We had a nice one night stay. The hotel is furnished in traditional style with so much to look at. Our room was nice, but the lighting wasn’t very bright even when you put all of them on. Also the water wasn’t very hot, just a bit warm and the bath tap a bit rickety. I just feel that the room although gorgeous traditional decoration could do with the actual facilities being updated. We enjoyed a very nice dinner at Saigonsan. I had the crab cakes followed by the lamb massaman- delicious. Breakfast was also very nice with plenty of variety and some nice healthy dishes too. Service throughout was impeccable.
