“Anna” at the reception is extremely helpful and welcoming in assisting the check-in process. The deco of hotel is a hybridization of east and west, which is both exotic and nostalgia. Staff throughout hotel always deliver welcoming smile and heartful greetings. Definitely worth a visit as a historical landmark and travel destination.

Our time at Hotel Majapahit was exceptional. It is a beautifully maintained historical gem full of character, acting as a quiet sanctuary right off a busy main road. Right from arrival, the hospitality shone. The team welcomed us warmly, check-in was seamless, and the herbal welcome drinks were a lovely touch. They took great care of us regarding my Accor status, offering a complimentary room upgrade and an extended check-out. The elegant fountains and lawned gardens are rare to find in the city center, and the pool temperature was perfect. Dining at Indigo Restaurant was another standout. The menu offers a great mix of Indonesian, Chinese, and Western dishes at fair prices. Being Cantonese, I highly recommend the steamed garoupa fish. Our server was also a total delight. Thank you to everyone from the Door/Bell Team and Front Office to Housekeeping and F&B for making us feel so welcome. My only minor critiques are a weak Wi-Fi signal in the bathroom and an outdated room directory book that lacked the current spa menu. Still, this hotel deserves its stellar reputation and I look forward to returning.

Wow, what a beautiful hotel! The courtyard gardens, the atmosphere, the pool and the incredibly friendly and helpful staff deserve an A. And we also got an upgrade to an even nicer room!
