Extremely disappointing experience – not suitable for families We booked this villa based on the photos and description on Booking.com, however the actual condition of the property was completely different. From arrival, it was clear the villa was not properly maintained. The front desk appeared disorganised and unprofessional, and when we entered the villa the difference between the advertised photos and reality was shocking. There was a strong unpleasant smell throughout the entire villa. When we opened the fridge to store water for our children, we found old food left inside, which clearly had not been cleaned. The bathroom was in very poor condition and unhygienic (photos attached). Our children were uncomfortable and distressed, and as parents we did not feel it was safe or appropriate to stay. We checked out shortly after arrival. We then attempted to request a refund. The staff told us to contact Booking.com, who advised that written confirmation from the property was required. The property staff said their manager would respond the next day and process this. Unfortunately, this never happened. Booking.com later confirmed the property did not respond to their requests. We attempted to contact the property multiple times by phone and WhatsApp without success, despite them being responsive before our booking. We were forced to book alternative accommodation at short notice at our own expense, which added significant stress to our family holiday. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this property due to the condition of the accommodation and the lack of responsibility shown afterwards.

Location is perfect, love the concept is so close to nature and beach, staff are so nice and friendly. The only thing need to improve is the maintenance abit run down, the rest we love it. Definetely will come back

Great location in Sengigi. We had a pool private villa and was very affordable. Unfortunately the property is very tired and needs a facelift. Boardwalk to villa was in desperate need of replacing as slats broken and not fixed down, villa not appointed with enough of usual necessities such as pool towels for the pool, utensils, glassware etc. mattress was not comfortable, pool light needed putting back on as was hanging off in pool, tired pool chairs with ripped sun lounge mattresses, safe not fixed down. However, staff were very friendly and willing to accommodate any of our requests and fixed pool light as soon as requested. Could be a fantastic place to stay with these minor things rectified.
