Sumba Nautil Resort

We spent 11 wonderful days at Nautil Resort. We decided to start our trip to Indonesia with Sumba and the calm of this still undeveloped island. Ali and his family welcomed us very well. The resort is beautiful, with breathtaking views. In addition, being high has preserved us from the wind that can blow quite hard by the sea. The few bungalows are very comfortable and can accommodate a family of 4 like us. They are very clean, the rooms are made every day. The bungalows are isolated from each other in an extraordinary garden; we do not bother at all. The view is incredible. The pool is superb with panoramic views. However, children must be able to swim because there is a little depth in places. We ate very well. Breakfast is à la carte, bread is homemade. Lunch is possible on site. Dinner was included in the 1/2 board with a daily menu. It was delicious! It is possible to rent scooters, essential enough to go to the beaches of Kerewe or Marosi very close (5 minutes vs 30 minutes walk). Ali is a very good Trip Tip to bring visit recommendations. It was a magical and resourceful stay. Our daughters loved playing with Ali’s children. They already want to go back! Termina kasih 🙏

We had a wonderful time at Nautil Resort! We even extended by 3 nights in this beautiful quiet and soothing place. Secure and 5 minutes from the beach by scooter. The owner and his family are full of kindness. We ate great every morning and every night. Very spacious and clean room! If we needed help or advice, Ali and his family always responded present. We thank them for this lovely time in Sumba!

A superb view, a most pleasant outdoor space, from the swimming pool you benefit from a very beautiful panorama, rooms scattered in the garden, very spacious and very comfortable, each with a terrace, the dishes are varied and excellent. Very nice meeting with Ali and his family. 🙏 terima kasih for these 4 days at home.
