I am extremely disappointed with my stay at A-Glow Hotel in Batam. From the very first day, the experience was unacceptable and far below what was advertised on Agoda. I booked a Deluxe Twin Room specifically because Agoda’s listing clearly stated that the room comes with an outdoor view. Upon arrival, there was absolutely no outdoor view only a wall. This is misleading and false advertising. All three rooms we booked on the first day were in very poor condition. There was a strong drainage smell in every room, and we had to repeatedly call housekeeping just to spray air freshener. The rooms were not properly maintained there were insects inside, and the floors had visible cement-like stains, making the environment feel dirty and unhygienic. The air-conditioning in all three rooms was completely unacceptable. There was almost no cooling at all. At night, the rooms became extremely warm, and none of us could sleep comfortably. Even after the receptionist changed our rooms to side-by-side connecting rooms on the second day (15th), the air-conditioning problem remained unresolved. It felt like a centralized system that automatically switched off at night. This is unacceptable in a hotel, especially in Batam’s hot weather. The service was equally disappointing. When I ordered coffee through room service, the staff who answered the phone could not understand my order even after I repeated it five times. When the beverages were delivered, the order was completely wrong. What was most frustrating was the attitude of the reception staff. When we raised the issue that the room did not match Agoda’s description, they simply blamed Agoda and said it was not their responsibility. As paying customers, we were left without any proper solution. They only agreed to change the rooms after we had to make a serious complaint and push repeatedly for action. Overall, this stay was a terrible experience. The room conditions, poor maintenance, malfunctioning air-conditioning, and lack of accountability from the staff made it one of the worst hotel stays I have experienced. The door man and big shout out to the SECURITY MAN OUTSIDE. They were nice and willing to help my family to stop the traffic when we want to cross over. Given my experience, I genuinely question how this hotel has so many positive reviews. It raises serious doubts about the authenticity of those ratings. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Its a good hotel for the vacation, all the facility its good and every staff very humble also food its good too, swimming pool also good

Happen to book this wonderful hotel just opposite Harbor Bay Ferry Terminal Batam . We took 2 Rooms with extra beds for the 6 of us 3 adults n 3 kids. Room was clean, spacious and full of amenities. Maybe except no mini fridge . Staff was helpful, courteous especially Ms Selvy (hope i got the name right). The kids loved n enjoyed the pool. They also have inhouse massage service. B'fast was good with wide spread of offerings . Have a good time there and hope to return again.
