Wanted to give a better rate for this hotel due to its location to the mall and the price. But this hotel (which should be one of the best decades ago) failed in most aspects.
Outlook:
Hotel looks way too dated and most of its amenities are not in existence (karaoke room, gym as stated in hotel booking site)
Upon checking in to the room, carpet has loads of burnt marks and worn out. Smell of the room is bearable. The bed looks clean and bathroom has a bathtub but it’s yellowish.
Understaffed but their are accommodating to requests (just need to be reminded or you have the patience to wait, for actions)
Feel:
Super minimal toilet amenities given and bring your toiletries. Towel is beige in Color and has stains on them but they smell rather fresh.
Nice touch to the mini bar and there is tea n coffee. For bed upon inspection, quilt smells ok but the pillows nope. Some spots of stains (likely blood) can be found on the bedsheets. (Do take note that house keeping on a daily basis just helps you to make your bed (no changes to the sheet though) toilet boils are not cleaned as well just a change of towels.
Remember to update your room key if you’re going out daily.
Hardware:
Bad bad bad... I feel that the water boiler needs to be replaced as it smells and it’s dirty. Mini fridge is broken down and upon opening, it smells... air vents is leaking (due to condensation maybe) but the air conditioning is not powerful enough to keep the Deluxe room cool (I turned to 10Degrees and fan on high mode) when sleeping, the room feels around 25degrees c. Shower is powerful but tends to wet the whole floor in the toilet. No sockets near the bed and most sockets seems to be abused and blackened. As stated in site, wifi available but don’t believe in it!
Towel rack is broken...
No Black out curtains so it will be bright at 6am local time daily.
Service:
Staffs are accommodating to requests but slow in response. Don’t give them multiple requests. Ask one by one. Be patient and wait at times. Overall the are nice people but not ready to serve. Remind them as the front desk people tend to forget requests (eg: asked for a fresh towel as one of them dropped on the floor and was wet, she took forever to get someone to send it to the room)
Complaint on wifi:
On first day, staff told me next day will be available. Second day, staff told me they are still working on it. Third day approached the manager on duty, he told me level 6 wifi is not working and upon requests, he will arrange for me to shift to level 3 which then he went missing after 45min of waiting and I’ve packed my stuffs. Went down to check and realised that manger went for break and no one knows what’s happening. Then staff told me that level 3’s wifi is down as well (which why didn’t the manager knows what’s happening?)
No reimbursements if you missed out on the promised services which are supposed to be rendered to us.
Overall I will come back if the charges are half the price I paid. If not, nah...

Accommodation was booked on last minute basis.
Price is very much affordable.
Though the hotel looks rather old, but it is spacious and comfortable.
All staff are very friendly and accommodative and helpful.
Foods are just outside hotel premise with variety of local dish selections.

Such an old hotel. The room looks quite old and the towels also looks olds. However this hotel has a good architecture, from the lobby until the room.
I believe this hotel must be very popular & nice in the early 90. Just that it's poorly maintained now. The staffs are very friendly & helpful.
The hotel location is very good, near the Nagoya hill mall
