The BCC Hotel and Residence

I had booked the 2 Bedroom Apartment for my family of 5. The 2 daughters sleeping in the 2-Single Bed Bedroom, the son sleeping in a Make-Shift Bed in the living area and the parents sleeping in the Master Bedroom that has a toilet within the room. Checking in was easy and fast. Even though we had came earlier, a quick check and we were able to gain access into our apartment. Upon entering, we were greeted with the expected Mushy Smell of something damp but we were not able to find any problems except that the the hotel may be very old. A check to the bathrooms kind of confirm that the place is indeed considered very old as the locks to the bathrooms don't work well and the door also does not fit properly. Just like another hotel we had previously stayed, the bath area flood badly once we start bathing. Other than that, all else works fine. We are just glad we had brough along our extension power socket as there is no available extension for our computers and other electronic devices. The location of the hotel is good though. It is just a very short walk to 2 of the main mall - Grand Batam Mall and BCS (Batam City Square) Mall. The street stalls are also very near by, barely 5 mins walk if you know where to cut through. It is really a very conveniently located hotel and the professional and exceptionally friendly staff made my stay all the more enjoyable.

AC not working despite changing 3 rooms. Floor toilet always flooded. Bedsheets stained and had to get housekeeping to change. Breakfast is basic but it is what you pay for. Service staff in housekeeping and restaurant are pleasant and attentive.
