Good Heart Bungalow

Stopped off here for an evening meal as location looked good on seafront. Sat at the beach tables and ordered chicken, vegetables and fries with a large Bintang. This was by far the most expensive meal I had on Gili Trawangan and also the most disappointing. Small portion, frozen vegetables and fries were too over cooked to eat. The final straw was using the unisex bathroom, smelled revolting and it was filthy. There are so many other nice eateries along the front, avoid this one!

Booked and paid via Agoda, and when I try to check-in they tell me they’re full and don’t have my booking; then walked away. This place should be delisted, what a joke, they didn’t even apologize, they claim they only get notifications from booking.com. Since I couldn’t check-in I can’t really review the rooms, but from what I saw it looked like a dump anyway, the pool looks nothing like the photos.

I stayed here for four days while travelling the Gili islands. Room was not cleaned the whole time. No hot water in the taps or shower. I didn’t try the food as the rooms were shocking. Wouldn’t recommend.
