Les Villas Ottalia

I have had the opportunity to visit Indonesia several times and stay in many hotels. Honestly, I had never experienced anything like this before. In Indonesia, people are usually very welcoming, smiling, and warm. Unfortunately, at this hotel, the welcome was cold and impersonal, and the general atmosphere was unpleasant. The bathrooms gave off a very bad smell, especially in the evening. The hotel is also far from everything, which makes getting around difficult. As for breakfast, it was very disappointing, with little choice and mediocre quality. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel. It in no way reflects the exceptional hospitality usually found in Indonesia, and I will not stay there again.

Unfortunately, this accommodation is neither luxurious nor the “oasis” it claims to be. The price is completely disproportionate to what is offered. Our experience can be summed up as: poorly cleaned room, bathroom with bird droppings that weren’t even removed, dirty surroundings and pool (even a cockroach floating), broken AC… and the icing on the cake was an attempt to “justify” the price by placing a mattress on the floor for our daughter. There is a lot — and I mean a lot — that needs improvement, including honesty in how such a place is advertised. Honestly, it was the worst experience of all three Gilis and Indonesia. Finally, we thank the manager, who tried to mitigate the inconveniences, but truth be told, there was little she could do.

Very quiet and nice place where to spend some days. Personnel is super kind also with children. Food is great, we are Italians and even pasta was appreciated by our children. Salty swimming pool is fantastic
