We had a wonderful stay - the hotel is peaceful, warm and welcoming. We stayed with our five-month old baby for my partner’s birthday. The team went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and were very thoughtful for our needs with the baby. The food in the restaurant is delicious and should not be missed! We had both dinner and breakfast there - great local ingredients and tasty range of dishes, with vegetarian options on offer. The location is also very convenient for the Cliffs of Moher (free shuttle during the summer months, which includes free access) and the Burren national park is close for some orchid spotting (free shuttle from Corofin).

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at Sheedy’s B&B in Lisdoonvarna. The property is well‑kept, the accommodations are comfortable, and the service is outstanding. The on‑site restaurant deserves particular praise; the meal we enjoyed there was arguably the best of our entire trip through Ireland. Martina Sheedy’s personal touch elevated our stay even further—she hosted an Irish whiskey tasting for us in the sitting room, creating a memorable and genuinely unique experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.

We recently had a wonderful two night stay at Sheedy's Hotel. We were warmly greeted upon arrival by Martina who would prove to be the consummate host over the course of our stay. Our room was lovely and peaceful, with a small anteroom off it with a coffee machine and a table and chairs where we could sit and relax. The bed was extremely comfortable with quality bedding and the shower had fantastic pressure.
Dining options are somewhat limited in Lisdoonvarna on a Monday evening , so we dined at the hotel the first night. It proved to be a great decision as we both had one of the nicest lamb dishes we've ever had, dessert was also great. The meal was so good in fact that we were eager to dine there again the next night and it was equally delicious. Service was excellent throughout and very nicely paced. The breakfast menu was varied and extensive, with more choices available than usual. The ubiquitous 'full Irish' was very filling and really set us up for the day. The bread at both dinner and breakfast was also very tasty.
Martina was very helpful with tips and advice when we mentioned a couple of places we intended to visit, she is a mine of local knowledge! Overall this was a great hotel stay and I would highly recommend both the hotel and the restaurant.
