Gresham Metropole

I emailed and tried to call after I booked to ask for check in at 2pm instead of 3. No reply at all. I paid 161 euro(including paid parking) My small room was adjacent to a roof(pic enclosed( which had fans on top which did not stop all night which meant very little sleep. Window opened or closed the fans were loud. I recorded video bt wont let me upload here. Walked barefoot on carpet and twice got long hairs(nt my own) stuck to my feet😔 I also left an expensive fast charger and cable in my room on check out. I called 3 times to arrange collection of charger. Everyrime was wold someone wouldnget back to me. Bt finally was told no sign of charger? I know I didnt leave the charger anywhere else only plugged into the plug in my room. Awful customer service. Dont judge a book by its cover eh. Because from outside looks like a lovely hotel but its really nt worth your money. Stay elsewhere.

Had a lovely 2 night stay recently. Wonderful location and the staff could not do enough to help. This came in very handy as it was 20 years since I had been in Cork. There was a lovely atmosphere in the hotel. Rooms were spotless and very comfortable.

This hotel is in a perfect location for enjoying Cork city. The room and its facilities were outstanding and the entire staff are that wonderful combination of welcoming and professional.
