Barrys Hotel

Charming hotel. Lovely staff. But expensive for what you get. We stayed for st Patric weekend so that probably was part of the cause. The room was very cold and lacked a hairdryer which we were told would be present. We noticed the staff but no dryer was provided. The lounge with fireplace was lovely. Breakfast rolls unfortunately were very dry. All in all we really liked the place, but it was too expensive for what you got

My girlfriend and I’s stay here was exceptional. We stayed only one night, both of us are students, and we were presented with a display and service standard of luxury. Our memorable experience was being accommodated past the breakfast time (10am close) as we had slept-in. Upon arriving at the lobby, the (manager) approached us if we needed anything, and we explained our situation; if there was anything left from the breakfast. Three staff members, including the manager in the lobby, helped us out by bringing the two of us over to the kitchen area, giving us a medley of pastries, juices, and delicious coffee. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, and the kind accommodating service shown to us was the highlight of our trip :)
