Connemara Coast

We stayed in hotel for couple of days. Very nice hotel with very obliging staff. Room spacious and comfortable. Nice sea view worth that bit extra. Food good and reasonably priced for a hotel. Walking area at sea front, just be careful as it’s a stony coastline. Very clean hotel. Music the odd night.

Lovely stay. This was part of a honeymoon Ireland trip. We stayed here because what Galway places are asking for and what you are getting is not that great of a deal. Beautiful ocean view and sound. Staff are congenial and breakfast was lovely. Will be back again. Ubers and freenows (lyft) are tempermental because it's "too far" to Galway (which it's not) so be ready for a cancelled ride. Park yourself at the bar while you wait.

I write a lot of reviews. And I’m afraid this is one of the worst I’ve written. I was really looking forward to this hotel. I’m afraid what a terrible disappointment it was. It was the most expensive out of all the top class hotels I had booked on our tour around Ireland. The reception sent us to the room that was supposed to be a superior room with sea views. When we got in the room it was a standard double. Tried to blame our booking sites pictures. But I knew by the details it was just a standard room not the superior we had paid for.i asked to be upgraded to probably the one I already paid for. It cost extra. Even then over charged me. Honestly. I have so much patience but I was losing it fast. The reception staff just kept fobbing me off. And rude. Also the bar staff totally ignored my hubby and served other people other than him who had been waiting 10 minutes. I have also never known battered fish like in fish and chips with tasted like sand in it. I really really am so upset with this place. They need to home their customer service skills and hospitality and I’m afraid. They prey on the tourists. It is definitely a tourist trap.
