Good hotel for staying in with a family. We had a family room with 2 adults and 3 children, which is a rare find! Breakfast was great. We walked into Galway each day - around 30 minutes - but drove to Salthill one day. Room was fairly quiet at night. Only small grumble was the extractor fan not working in the bathroom - we did report this but it wasn’t fixed when we were there and it just meant it was quite stuffy after 5 people had had showers! Every member of staff we met was lovely. There was plenty of parking. All in all, a great place to stay with kids to visit Galway.

The room smelled of a combination of cigarette smoke and air freshener spray. Bar and reception staff were indifferent and seemed tired and uninterested.
