The Dunloe Hotel & Gardens

Dear Jason & all of the team at The Dunloe, We’re not even sure to begin with this ‘thank you’. We cannot thank you enough, from the bottom of our hearts, for giving us the most magical weekend of our whole lives. From the moment we first contacted you to enquire about booking the hotel, up until we checked out last Sunday morning, we knew we had made the right decision. The care, professionalism and attention to detail by the entire staff is second to none. In particular, Simon and Pauline, as well as Mathieu, were absolutely wonderful to deal with. The transition with a new wedding coordinator coming on board was seamless. Other staff that looked after us so well included Bart, Bridie, Tommy, Brittany, Senan, and Alena - there were many others but some names have escaped us! The gentleman who did our tasting with us was fantastic, and so much fun. His name is escaping us in this moment but he was sublime. We had a small hiccup with our photographer on the day of the wedding, whereby he turned up to the photo location quite late and delayed our return to the hotel. We were both understandably a little stressed and bothered by this, but we have said all week that the moment we pulled up the driveway and we were greeted by yourself, Pauline & the team we felt immediately at ease. We felt the day was back on track & in safe hands again. And it just continued to get better. We had the time of our lives that weekend and it was beyond anything we could have dreamed up for ourselves - and that is in no small part down to you and your team at The Dunloe. We found ourselves quite sad at check-out at the prospect that we cannot return for a couple of years with the renovations - but rest assured we will be the first to check in once you reopen! Dunloe is only 15 minutes from Killarney but when you take one look out your window you will just want to spend the day! Gorgeous horses peacefully grazing against backdrop of gap of dunloe! Service was amazing so helpful and always with a warm smile!

We have been traveling SW Ireland, spent 3 days at Dunloe and can't say enough good. From the reception desk (they even overheard it was my birthday and sent a box of chocolates) to the Bell desk, everyone was pleasant, social and made us very welcome. The restaurant staff were all delightful. I took the tour of the stable and rode Sally, a haflinger horse. Eating a meal while watching the horses ramble in the pasture was lovely. Also on a recommendation took a Jaunting carriage with John Ferris. Though not with Dunloe I highly encourage the excursion. He is wonderful with stories and history. A delightful ride! Oh and MUST use the pool workout and spa services. Victoria was great, the view from the pool ESP. with a rainbow was remarkable
