The Ross

Great stay at The Ross. The hotel is very well located, a short walk from the train station. I was welcomed and able to get my room earlier than the 3:00 check in. Very nice coffee / bar area with seating in the main lobby area. Breakfast was served in a very cool space on the lower level. Lots of choices, good food and no buffet! Comfortable bed and bathroom and good seating area. I asked for a quiet room and was placed facing the church which turned out great. easy access to the National Park, the main streets of the town, and the horse carts. Numerous good restaurants and pubs and shopping right around the corner. I stayed four nights and was glad to have the Ross as my base. Definitely recommend.

This is the hotel to which all other hotels will be compared going forward. Excellent location right across the street from Killarney National Park. Easy parking 1 block away at a sister hotel. Decor is happy, modern, colorful. Room was lovely, with a large deep tub. Enjoyed the cocktail lounge - had a meat and cheese plate here with housemade crackers that was great and a good value at 17 euros.

The hotel's location was fantastic. The hotel and the room had fun, comfortable and spacious interiors. The breakfast was abundant and delicious. The staff was outstanding.
