Beautiful new hotel, large room, great views, AC! A good location to travel north in a day trip to the cliffs. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Shout out to Declan at the desk and Caroline at breakfast for friendly and helpful services! Parking garage was across the street and there was a good hotel discount. Outdoor seating along the river as well. Highly recommend!

Lovely hotel. Wonderful views over the Shannon river from our room. Everything you need apart from TV that was dodgy. Needs changing I’m afraid. Couldn’t get on channels fixed it but went of at night and same again in the morning couldn’t get on the channels.

We stayed here as part of a summer holiday driving around Ireland. We found out that we'd passed the carpark on approaching the hotel, and were given instructions as to how to get back to it, due to the one-way system. The instructions were long, but clear and correct, and we found a space without issue. The carpark was secure even if parking could be had elsewhere and I don't think we were charged. Reception gave us a free pass to use on leaving. We arrived just as the gym was closing and at weekends it opens quite late, 8am, so we could not try it - but it looked like a small but well-equipped gym. Some refurbishment is ongoing so we had to use a different lift, but we didn't have any problems with that. The room was on the 14th floor, which gave us an excellent view, and was big enough for us to get around the bed easily but not quite open up our (large) suitcases flat. The bed was comfortable, aircon worked well, and the room was quiet. Kettle and instant coffee and tea in room. The hairdryer was fitted right next to a mirror in the bathroom - full points! The location is quite central, and there are lots of restaurants along the quay and in the nearby pedestrian areas. Breakfast was fine with some hot dishes, yogurt and fruit - I missed some proper muesli.
