Talbot Hotel Clonmel

The hotel is excellent with very good facilities - pool and gym. The room was large and very richly decorated and was very clean. Our only issue was that during the heatwave, the room did not have air conditioning.

We visited the Talbot as a family. The welcome was warm and friendly and the hotel was spotless. The facilities were great, we used the leisure area which was well equipped. The bar area had a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We had breakfast at the hotel which was delicious and the staff in the restaurant were very attentive. The children’s goodie bags and ice cream vouchers were a really lovely and thoughtful touch. Our TVs in both rooms were not working, while we do not come on holiday to watch TV sometimes it’s nice to have the option. We did come on a particularly warm weekend but air conditioning would be a great addition as the room was really hot. All in all a fantastic stay and experience and we would definitely return and recommend a stay

Staff was very helpful, I booked the wrong dates and when we arrived they were looking for our booking only to realize it was the following week . They were very helpful and we got things changed around and stayed that night. The food was amazing and the guys were very nice there too . They went out of their way for us and kids . We would definitely stay there again. Thank you all and it's a credit to you and all the staff there for such an enjoyable stay.
