Very good deal, fantastic food the place very well served, we loved our waitress Jennifer, it's lovely

The hotel has had a recent revamp and the decor is lovely, we had a very large room with two very small doubles and 1 single as we were traveling as a family of 4. My husband is 6.3 hence my "very small double bed" comment. Our room was very nice and very clean, our bathroom needed work, the toilet wasn't great for flushing and the shower went very hot very quick without warning so not suitable for our two children. We had a 2 night stay the food was very nice the service was good, some very forgetful staff but it is very busy at present, definitely more staff needed, as a business owner I feel the bar staff let this hotel down, two very rude young lads here Saturday night, many guests quite annoyed, some of the pints of Guinness being poured were criminal, one small brown haired chap asked to turn on the darts for a guest behind us and he might as well being asked to walk through hot coal, his facial expression, his body language all bad, a guest should never be made feel awkward for asking something so simple, that same guest asked was his Guinness a zero as it was in a zero glass and the same bar man said "clearly not, u didnt ask for a zero" maybe I'm getting old but that's cheeky. Leisure facilities are great here, lovely gym and pool area and playground/crazy golf and basketball for children, the Courtyard is a lovely touch also.

Big thank you to the team who looked after us, all very engaging and attentive from check in to an early check out to catch the ferry. Dinner was really tasty and got the thumbs up from both our 4 year, and 2 year old who can be somewhat of food critics at times 😂 With only 20 minutes to the ferry it was perfect to have a great sleep before we ventured back to wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 after a great Christmas 🎄 Thank you Newpark Hotel team ☺️
