Alma Hotel and Lounge

Arrived to find no staff, no check in, a message to say the key is waiting, no indication of which room I was to be in. When they did answer the phone to say which room, and we worked out which key it was, we discovered the room was not ready, no bed sheets, no towels. Complete shambles.

We arrived at the wedding hotel in anticipation of a special hotel as presented. We got to the room, dirty room! I took out my towels and started cleaning. Dirty at the level I got to sit and touch things there. We paid for a room with a balcony, the balcony was dirty!! The TV is turned off every 20 minutes. The record was when we came back from a night trip, there was no hot water to shower. We went to bed dirty and disappointed. In the morning we woke up, on the floor, dead jokes. We paid for two nights, ran away after one night, after the barely Hebrew-speaking receptionist refused to tell us the director's name to talk to. Don't get there!!!

The worst Front Desk Manager we have ever experienced. To quote him "dont care about negative reviews as the Government is paying for evacuees to stay here". He should not be in the hospitality business. The position is great, the room so so, the safe room on the floor was padlocked during a war. Will never step foot there again.
