Unfortunately, the gentleman at the reception lacks friendliness towards the guests – no greeting, no smile. Perhaps one should avoid the place as a non-Italian. However, it is to be feared that it affects all travelers. Friendliness towards one's guests can also be learned... perhaps from the female staff. Breakfast was positive, room was neutral.

The hotel is in a good position to visit the main places of the city on foot. For the rest everything is modest, from the room to breakfast

Wpnderful hotel near the heart of the historic centre. While in the ZTL, we were able to drive up to the hotel, unload bags, receive a parking letter to display on the dashboard and park about 50 metres away (parking can be a nightmare in Chieti, so having a hotel that offered a parking solution was critical). Comfortable albeit compact rooms, quiet at night. Elevator available. Breakfast is served in a beautiful medieval cellar in the mornings. Friendly attentive service, with the reception manned almost always.
