Parc Hotel Villa Immacolata

Arrived late in the evening in two vans. Loads of parking and hotel staff came out to help us locate. It’s a lovely site, extensive gardens and an old convent. The rooms are therefore quirky but clean and quiet. Just what you need after a long day driving. Dinner was simple but excellent with great service. Wine reasonable but from a small wine list. Desk staff are excellent with good English. I certainly recommend this hotel as a reasonably priced hotel with good access to the motorway network.

We were hoping for a hotel by the sea, but in our rush to book, booked this hotel well up the mountain on Strada Comunale San Silvestro. Locating it was a mission in itself, as the car GPS took us up a narrow lane only half way to the hotel. Don't trust the GPS. Instead get on San Silvestro at the bottom, there is even a small sign for Villa Immacolata, go up the hill to the top, past the Taverna, and past the supermarket. If you keep going you cannot miss it as it is very large. Whilst it may be a large hotel, maybe due to its isolated location, patronage is low. The rooms are nice and spacious and the air con works. There is also a couple of small swimming pools to use. The hotel is a little past its glory days, and though well maintained, its large function rooms and dinning area now seemed destined for weddings and the like. Rather than eat in the large dinning room with only a few guests, we chose to eat down the road at the local taverna, which provided excellent pasta meals at a reasonable price. Staff are very helpful, and there is plenty of parking, and a lift to your room. However, you may care to take the stairs which are magnificent showing its past glory.

This is more of a resort where u have 3 swimming pool with 2 of them heaving slides . Mini golf and wide range of breakfast option. The location is good with free shuffle service to the city and lots of activities around it. Be aware that if u are use to 4 star services in SE Asia and Middle East, in Europe service are a bit different. However, it was clean, comfortable and near by everything. ( by bus or car)
