Locanda Belvedere

We stayed at the Belvedere inn, led with great sympathy and authority by Mauro, the other night in eight friends and it was a very pleasant evening (at some point it started to snow even though it was the first day of spring). The atmosphere is very nice the dishes are well thought out and well drawn. The menu is smart there are things of territory and even a flicker that looks out, there is a good wine list but there are some things to fix. I will focus on the service that is done with great sympathy but still something is missing let me give an example: in my opinion it should always be the host in this case the manager of the room to illustrate with respect to a certain menu what is the best wine to taste without doing it too heavily or with an excess of expertise but with the grace of which the host in this case is very gifted while the waiter came to us and was, in my opinion, not a good thing. The times of the service were too dilated and often came a plate by one but and not all at once, ok we were many is understandable but on the serve there are still a few things to fix, but as I said in the title there is a very high potential. In any case, the rib and the fried egg are almost masterpieces. To go there and back demanding more and more. Prices a bit high but we are in Courmayer and moreover in Val Ferret one of the most beautiful places in Italy.

Fantastic stay. Staff extremely helpful and friendly, with great customer care and maximum flexibility on schedules and requests. The atmosphere is welcoming and warm. As customers we were pampered and felt “at home”. The property is beautiful and authentic, with breathtaking views. The recently renovated rooms are cozy and comfortable, immersed in the snow with a splendid view of Mont Blanc. The restaurant offers a selection of special dishes, with high quality products, with excellent value for money. Absolutely recommended!

For many years we have stayed at Locanda Belvedere and every time we bring home some more wonderful memories. The inn expresses, in its refined simplicity, the true essence of the mountain surrounded by a unique and breathtaking panorama.
