Tavernier

Small hotel, a little 'left out, but still very nice and cozy, overlooking the Dora, which forms a very suggestive stream, it deserves to be a little more well-kept. Friendly staff and perfect welcome, the breakfast excellent and plentiful, the room a bit 'old but functional. There is no restaurant, but in the area there is plenty of choice. A stone's throw from the ski lift for ski lovers. All in all advisable, the price is great.

River noise is the least of the problems because this hotel has many. It's very old, our room had uncomfortable mattresses and pillows. Very dirty and ruined carpet that smelled so bad. Dangerous electrical outlets and pipes on the exposed ceiling and broken shower shower. If you are looking for a hotel with a friendly area to spend evenings with friends or family after a day of skiing, this hotel is not for you. There is only one sitting area at reception but in the evening the lights are off and the bar is closed. The skiroom is in the garage, in the true sense of the word. It is not a “room” so you should bring your skis and boots to your room. It is true that in Courmayeur it is among the cheapest, but not free, and you do not pay very little, precisely for many services that this hotel does not have. Breakfast good and the Very good and very kind lady. The only positive note is the central location. A few meters from the ski resort and the center. I'm so sorry about that. I was disappointed

No complaints. Welcome was friendly and efficient. Room 11 on the river level, as others have said the river is very loud but to be honest it didn’t bother us and we had a good nights sleep. The room is a tad dated but large and spacious, perfectly pleasant, clean and comfortable and bathroom the same. Breakfast was simple but plentiful and friendly staff. A good budget option for a quick stopover, easy to walk to central Courmayeur.
