Walser

Booked a double room on their website; upon arrival we were informed that we would have two single beds. First they offered us a triple room with an extra charge, we accepted, and then they informed us that this one would also have two single beds pushed together... we decided not to stay there after the manager just told us "we also prefer not to keep dissatisfied guests," but they do not provide a refund, not even a partial one, for a room that had already been paid for at the time of booking... truly unprofessional, lost in a glass of water... I strongly advise against it.

Booking made through Booking.com, from which it was not clear that the spa would be by reservation and for a fee. We therefore did not use it, but having chosen the property for its presence, we were a bit disappointed. That said, the girls at the reception are very kind, welcoming, and very helpful in providing information about shuttles and trails. Gaia at the bar was also very good and kind. Our room (201) was the last one in the hallway, so it was a bit larger than the others. The bathroom was also very large and had a window. Perhaps a bit expensive for bed and breakfast, but probably in line with local prices.

We had a wonderful 2 days at Hotel Walser! We were a group of 8 hiking the TMB and stayed here for 2 nights so that some of us could have a rest day. The hotel is conveniently located across the square from the bus drop off. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful, including the lovely Rosa and the owner herself (Julianna?). They provided recommendations for restaurants, helped us with laundry, etc. We enjoyed a nice pizza dinner with a beautiful salad in the relaxing bar area. The facilities are beautiful and we enjoyed lounging on our flower-decked balcony. The breakfast is really good, with a great variety of quality items to choose from.
