Hotel Lysjoch

I had lunch there and I had a good experience. Definitely kind staff. The saffron risotto with scamorza cheese inside was excellent. The pork loin with spinach was good. Certainly a polenta would have been nice. I will definitely return, also because the staff told me that they are always open and in periods like October there isn't much in Staffal.

Kind and helpful staff, clean rooms, a few little things to fix but it was a good experience. The meals are approved, the price-quality ratio is good. The property is convenient, near Gressoney-la-Trinité. A small table to set a computer on would have been convenient… but the stay is approved. We only had one problem the first night because a local dog barked for about an hour practically on the little hill next to the window. The next day they even changed my room; the staff was immediately ready to accommodate me.

Bad experience. Unhappy location, in a curve, far outside the village. Dirty hotel, stained carpet, noisy, tiny rooms without even a table, dimly lit.
