Miramonti

After a wonderful day spent in the mountains of Cogne, we were looking for a place to spend a pleasant evening and at the Ristorante Miramonti we found much more than an excellent dinner: we found people. The welcome was impeccable, the staff of a kindness, availability and professionalism truly out of the ordinary. We felt pampered from the first to the last minute, with that authentic cordiality that today is increasingly rare. The cuisine deserves special praise. We tasted the delicious plin and they were, without any doubt, among the best we have ever eaten. Very thin pasta, perfectly balanced filling, delicate but intense flavors: a dish capable of telling the story of the territory with elegance and personality. Knowing that behind this cuisine there is a very young chef makes everything even more surprising. She has an extraordinary hand, a rare sensitivity and a talent that emerges in every detail of the dish. If she continues on this path, we are convinced that she will make people talk a lot about her. A special thanks goes to the whole staff for having us spend a truly special evening. It is precisely the combination of top-level cuisine, impeccable service and sincere attention to the customer that makes the difference. If we return to Cogne, the Miramonti will undoubtedly be a must-visit stop. Compliments to the whole staff and, above all, to the young chef: keep it up!

My wife and I stayed for 5 days, at the end of June, beginning of July; elegant hotel and stellar waiters, perhaps even excessively courteous. Huge underground parking.

I stayed here for 5 nights and had a wonderful time. Room 202 was comfortable and spacious with a beautiful view of the S. Orso meadows, equipped with a safe, slippers, hairdryer, and bathrobes. If you are celiac like me, know that at breakfast they will give you bread that they toast on a special griddle, muffins, cookies, and even a little dessert made specifically by their pastry shop. Such treatment at breakfast is rare in hotels that often limit themselves to providing only gluten-free bread.... The property is a little gem to explore, managed with great care by Stefano and Ombretta: it is full of antiques and evocative environments where you can relax, spending time even just reading. You can access the spa with pool and various saunas without the need for a reservation. The staff is very kind: with affection I remember Daniele from breakfast, Angelo from the reception, and Alessandro from the bar, always attentive to the customer's needs. You can leave your car in the garage and there is also a bike shed. I hope to return there one day in the future.
