Booked this hotel for 2 nights having read the reviews and wanting to take a balanced view. Location is superb and I have a wonderful view. However the reality is that the peeling paintwork on the outside, the need to open the automatic doors manually and the lack of any form of service after breakfast apart from housekeeping, means that the 4 star award is inaccurate. No help with bags was offered and although the reception staff are pleasant, they aren’t particularly helpful. Rooms are clean but my room which is classed as “superior “ is basic, with one chair, threadbare grey towels and stained carpets. Breakfast a great choice but coffee was from a machine. I’ll be leaving tomorrow and will be glad to check out.

The hotel structure is beautiful, but everything else requires serious intervention. It is not well-maintained; in fact, honestly, I have never seen towels like that anywhere in the world, they are more like floor rags than towels (old, gray-colored, ready to be thrown away). Breakfast was sad, to put it politely. Beautiful location... unfortunately, that is all that remains beautiful about this hotel. Poor cleanliness, shower stalls with blackened grout... I could describe this hotel with one word... SADNESS. Kind staff.

This hotel is perfectly situated on the harbour front, placing you right near excellent bars and restaurants. The staff at reception were outstanding; they helped us book two restaurants, arranged a taxi, and safely stored our luggage both before check-in and after checkout. The breakfast was impressive, offering a wide variety of choices, including Scrambled eggs which were excellent. Although a la carte dishes are available, the spread was so extensive we didn't feel the need to order anything extra. Brindisi is a lovely city for a short getaway with high-quality dining throughout. We had a spacious room with a beautiful harbour view, and despite the central location, it was completely quiet. I would definitely choose to stay here again.
