Santa Maria di Leuca Camping & Wellness

A really clean campsite, nice staff, also the free shuttle bus into town is perfect, food is perfect; anyone who leaves a bad review here probably needs to go to a 5-star hotel. We have been to many campsites, but this one is top-notch.

Four years in a row… and once again a special vacation! We returned for the fourth consecutive year to Camping Santa Maria di Leuca, and this time too we left with the feeling of having left a little piece of ourselves at home. What we appreciate most is the mix of freedom, safety, friendship, and professionalism that you breathe throughout the entire vacation. A great deal of credit goes to the staff and the fantastic animation team, who are always present, helpful, and capable of engaging guests without ever being intrusive. And the best thing is to see that, year after year, the entertainment is always growing, with many proposals and an energy that makes the stay even more pleasant. We chose the half-board plan again this year and we were very satisfied. The quality of the food is excellent and a note of merit definitely goes to all the restaurant staff, who are professional, kind, and always ready to satisfy the guests' needs. Another great strong point is the location: the proximity of the two seas allows you to reach truly wonderful places and beaches in a few minutes, with your own car or comfortably with the campsite shuttle. But the real added value, in our opinion, is the people and the spirit with which you experience this vacation. If you take it with lightness, lightheartedness, and a desire to be together, the campsite becomes something more than just a place to stay: it becomes a small community, where a friendship or a new memory can be born every day. And then there are them: the legendary barbecues all together! 😄 20, 30, 40 people… all at the same table, sharing meat or fish, laughter, chatting, and naturally excellent wine. They are simple moments, but they are exactly the ones that ultimately remain in your heart and make us want to return every year. Four consecutive years are no longer a coincidence: they are a choice. And if every time we leave already thinking about when we will return, it means that Camping Santa Maria di Leuca really does have something special. Disappointing experience. On the site it says that breakfast includes: milk, hot bread, pasticciotti etc.. but it wasn't like that, only 1 croissant and a drink and everything else you pay for. Meager quantities for the half-board meal and very long waits despite the very low turnout of guests in the facility. If we had wanted the TV it was 5 dollars a day but upon our arrival they told us it was not available. Lifeguards were good and attentive and the entertainment staff were nice (some were 15/16 years old but they kept it hidden).
