La Camera Ducale

We (2 couples) stayed here for 1 night at the beginning of May and overall it was good experience – kind and helpful staff, spacious and comfortable suites, good Italian breakfast and tasty dinner, parking for motorcycles in the front of the rooms. The hotel is located quite close (~3 km) to Gravina in Puglia – we can highly recommend to visit it and arrange tour to Cathedral and San Michele delle Grotte with local guide in Tourist information centre (3 EUR per person, ~1 hour).

Passino by for work. I camere across this place...In The middle of winter..jet it makes you feel Summer for the way it is done..Big White curtains hanging outside, while the Wind is making them dance. All White and typical Puglia style. Workers are very gentle. Place clean and warm. Good breakfast buffet.

Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Matera / Gravina. Super lovely staff. The room was huge, very clean and nice. Free breakfast which was mostly sweet but very good and great coffee. Couldn’t recommend it enough - very very good deal for the price.
