Dimora Barocca

I stayed these days at the Dimora Barocca: everything perfect! location, structure, kindness of the owners, services, equipment, type of room, everything far above expectations!! I recommend it to anyone wishing to spend a holiday in Lecce, a city wonderful!!

I stayed with other people and we reserved 3 luxury suites through the new manager Luigi. The apts are perfect and in an absolutely central position. Very beautiful, comfortable and elegantly renovated. Different but each with its own particularity. The photos show it. There are no storage wardrobes, so perhaps they are suitable for short stays. I would suggest some support for your suitcases. A common entrance is equipped with a shared kitchen, with fridge. Breakfast was not included, but we found pods available for coffee and snacks, and plenty of tea was available. The garden cloisters with beautiful plants are lovely and well-kept. We stayed very well. Thank you

The apartments are located in the middle of the after hour celebrations area for youngsters and most of them are at ground level, therefore noise at night is present until 3 at night expecially in the weekends. The apartment that I booked smelled heavily from humidity at arrival and only after several hours of air conditioning, the smell reduced at reasonable level. For the price that you are charged is a good compromise as the apartment is indipendent and there is a reasonable space to survive. Unfortunately, the layout of the apartment was extremely disappointing both for the tiny shower area (50 cm per side), the tiny window in the toilet (humidity will never dry out) and the bed that was at the end of metal stairs not particularly safe. The support from the property is minimal as during my stay it was very difficult to have a change of the shower towels and an help during the unpleasant situation in which heavy refurbishment noises in the apartment above my head started at 7:30 on Saturday and Sunday morning.
