Masseria Gattamora

Surrounded by nature, in a strategic position 10 minutes from Otranto. Beautiful and large pool. The owners of the structure Patrizia and Antonio are really special people, friendly, generous and empathetic, they pamper you and make you feel at home. The receptionist Emilia, Welcoming is extremely prepared, professional and multilingual, always ready to assist guests, even giving beautiful smiles. Rooms equipped with everything, furnished with rustic taste and outdoors surrounded by greenery. It is the ideal place to spend a holiday in absolute relaxation. It was my place of treatment for stress. I recommend it

As soon as you arrive, you are immediately greeted by a halo of sadness, once you enter you will find no one to welcome you but a bleak place that seems to come out of the dracula movie. The gentlemen who take care of it are kind, the son probably as soon as he saw someone was hiding so it seemed to me, the girl who takes care of the breakfast kind too. But the place a real Flop, probably the photos date back to a green vintage sel place, now it's all overlooked. The dirty pool, neglected garden, without a parasol, worn sun loungers, it says there is a lounge bar area but it is not true, if you want a snack there is nothing. Dirty rooms, dust both on the floor and on furniture, hair or hair everywhere, hair on the sheets that I hope were just cat hair but some seemed beard. Used handkerchiefs found in drawers, dirty mirrors, shower full of rust, dirt and hair. cobwebs on the ceiling and under the chairs where breakfast is, full of cobwebs and spiders, for me who am arachnophobic ... a nightmare. Poor breakfast, coffee definitely came out of a dirty car, with cups with crusted dirt and not well washed, the entrance is all messy, not cured .. all in between, dirty windows. Really high price for what it offers, we paid more for the terrace which was simply a roof with plastic chairs and table, views of the ruins and badly run down storage rooms. The cleaning lady who just covers your bed again, but doesn't change the sheets and towels, To completely review everything, a waste of money.

Wonderful one night stay in a fabulous old building. Would love to have stayed longer. Extremely warm, kind and helpful hosts who went beyond the call of duty, fabulous food and a large comfortable and peaceful room. The memory will stay with us a long time.
