Residenza Di Federico II

I booked for one night, specifically August 15, 2026. What can I say, we were left speechless by the room, huge bed, same for the bathroom, even though we had another bed for my son, we were 4 in the big bed. What can I say, very kind staff, excellent breakfast, everything perfect. If I happen to return to Lucera again, I will choose it again.

We arrived here as pilgrims on the Via Micaelica in 3 pairs of friends. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, the rooms are large comfortable and clean, the half board dinner is typical and well-kept, and breakfast is rich and plentiful. Absolutely recommended!

Hotel located in one of the most beautiful and historic points of the city, literally within walking distance of all the services and historical attractions that only a city like Lucera can offer. We were welcomed in the hotel lobby where the super friendly staff immediately showed us the welcome that only in Puglia we can give. They showed us the activities on site and the services the hotel offers, including: Spa, swimming pool, massages and much more, and then take us to our room. We stayed in the Historical Suit, the most beautiful room of all overlooking both sides of PortaTroia and from which you can enjoy a magnificent view. If the pictorial frame of the room was not enough on the ceiling, protected by glass there was an original fresco from the early 700s, which made the room a small museum. To top it all off, a heart-shaped bed with a bathroom stocked with all the classic-style amenities that teleports you back in time. Amazing breakfast with freshly baked hot croissants and freshly made cafeteria by impeccable staff. We felt pampered like princes. Recommendation to visit the city but to stay at Hotel Federico ll to make the experience even more unique.
