Tenuta San Francesco

The property was chosen because it is a few kilometers from Santa Margherita di Savoia. Very beautiful from an architectural point of view, it also offers the possibility of using a swimming pool. In the rooms, it would be useful to have a few more accessories (chairs, drying rack, coat hangers, etc.), but they still offer essential services (air conditioning, Wi-Fi, television...). The breakfast is abundant and varied, with attention also to those who have intolerances.

I can only strongly advise against this property. Our experience with Tenuta San Francesco was disastrous due to extremely unprofessional and dishonest management. Everything started after we made a reservation through Airbnb. The owner contacted us claiming that the price was incorrect and asking us to cancel the reservation on the platform to proceed directly with them, promising a discount for the inconvenience. We trusted them, staying in constant contact and receiving repeated confirmations of our stay at the property. On the day of arrival, while we were traveling, we tried to contact the owner to coordinate, but we hit a brick wall: he stopped answering calls, limiting himself to a few sporadic messages on WhatsApp. After making us waste precious time, he had the nerve to deny any agreement, pretending that we did not have any reservation and contradicting the confirmations he had given us previously. We suddenly found ourselves without accommodation while we were traveling, forced to frantically look for another place to stay at the last minute, paying a significantly higher price to be able to guarantee a place to sleep for our family, including a 4-year-old child. I find it unacceptable that a property treats its guests in this way. These are unprofessional, unreliable and, in my opinion, deeply rude people. Do not rely on them if you want to avoid finding yourself in stressful situations and dealing with unexpected problems caused exclusively by their total lack of professionalism. Terrible management from every point of view.
