Villa Imperiale

very, very welcoming place:)

The first question that came to my mind as soon as we realized what kind of facility we were in was: how is it possible that there were all positive reviews? We have traveled everywhere and it has never happened to us to pay for a hotel room and then be assigned and catapulted instead into a room in an anonymous building in a dilapidated room: with an 80s shower, sink with cracks, old shutters, and non-soundproofed fixtures. But above all, we paid for a 4-star hotel, on what principle, without informing us, do we find ourselves in a room in a building? If we had wanted a room, I would have chosen a B&B and not a hotel. Among other things, the girl at the reception, at first, gave us the key telling us only: the room is in the building next door! In short, she didn't even have the courtesy to accompany us, when we returned to complain and to say that we hadn't found the room, only then did she deign to lead us to the famous and old room in the building! Stunned. We also witnessed an argument with a furious lady, in the same situation, for having booked a 4-star and ending up in a room in a building. Photos of the pool online but it is not usable: they say it is only accessible for private events. Crazy stuff. I only save the location, you can comfortably reach every area of the city. But there will be infinite ones like this in the center: so I strongly advise against staying here.

I highly recommend it... We were there for work and were amazed by the phenomenal cuisine and especially the dining staff, particularly the waitress Arianna.
