Masseria Chiancone

Everything was excellent! On the occasion of my in-laws' anniversary and then for our daughter's First Communion, our guests complimented us on the choice we made. Your attention and care for every detail make you a certainty. Nothing was left to chance: wonderful location, impeccable staff, and a unique atmosphere. Thank you for making these moments special and unforgettable!

FRAM sold us this establishment as "Superior category accommodation including 4-star hotels, charming Masserias, historic residences, and country estates." These establishments offer a higher level of service, are often located in exclusive and unique places." However, the Masseria Chiancone Torricella does not meet or no longer meets the promised category. While the estate has great potential, it is not ready to welcome tourists who were promised 4-star accommodation; perhaps late May is not yet the season... The pool is under renovation!!! And even if it had been open, a swim cap is MANDATORY (no prior information from FRAM). The rooms are outdated and lack decoration; the bathrooms date back to the 1980s with a bidet and 80x80 shower, and a trash can with a broken lid. The staff is helpful, and everything remains very clean (some small red spiders in the bathrooms, but well, that’s nature). The Masseria is a bit far from places of interest. This Masseria remains a good little 3-star accommodation for bus groups making a stop, but it does not correspond to the superior category accommodation sold by FRAM for a couple on vacation.

The Masseria Chiancone structure turned out to be a surprise from every point of view, a place of magnificent charm as well as a welcoming and pleasant spot. I was there for the first time for an event and found the staff to be polite and helpful, excellent service, and the food just right in portions and taste. I particularly appreciated the menu because it is very varied and elegant, fully respecting the Apulian traditions. A completely perfect combination paired with good wine and an inviting location. The waiters were always attentive to every customer and careful with every detail, even when serving additional portions, although given the quantity of the servings, I assure you that it is not necessary. I find the chef very skilled and meticulous with every dish, putting personality into everything he proposed. I was pleasantly impressed by this establishment, which I recommend from every point of view for any event, but also for a more intimate treat. I will return as soon as possible with joy to enjoy a small moment of happiness that they were able to convey to me.
