Agriturismo Giorgio

Score: ⭐️⭐️☆☆☆ (2/5) Review: A positive note for the facility and the accommodations: the rooms are truly comfortable, large, spacious, and impeccably clean. The setting of the farmhouse is pleasant and well-maintained. Unfortunately, the real sore point of our stay was the restaurant. Enticed by the images seen online, we expected Lucullan dishes presented at their best. The reality, however, turned out to be quite different: a real "mess." The main problems: Preparation and aesthetics far from the photos: The Tortellaccio ordered did not look anything like the promotional images (clearly retouched with Photoshop). But the most serious fact is that inside the dish we found a steel filament. Upon our report, the staff apologized, explaining that it was a piece of the sponge used to wash the pans... such a mistake in the kitchen remains unacceptable regardless. Cooking of the meat: We requested medium-rare, but it arrived practically charred. A real shame: the location is worth it, but the restaurant management needs a thorough review and much more attention to hygiene and the quality of the cuisine.

I stayed with my family at this farmhouse at the entrance to Mattinata, a truly well-kept place, excellent for relaxing, with a beautiful pool and equipped with every comfort, making our stay with a small child very comfortable. And what can I say about the staff... everyone very kind and helpful... the restaurant offers truly excellent dishes... in this regard, I would like to thank Mrs. Annalisa (restaurant manager) in particular and the entire dining room staff for taking care of our little one! If we were to return to Mattinata you will always be our choice, heartfelt thanks and a kiss from little Stefania!!!!

We ate at the farmhouse restaurant and I must say that the experience was truly excellent, exceeding our expectations. Truly excellent food, high quality, well-prepared and well-served. Ultra-kind and attentive service, as rarely happens. Private but evocative location. A place to return to again and again!
