Hotel Minerva

Probably the worst hotel I have ever been too. Thankfully, we only stayed for a couple of hours as we had a late flight out of Brindisi airport. Hotel would be a complete stretch, it’s more like a motel. It’s advertised as a cheap hotel but it’s actually quite expensive for such a horrible place. The rooms are really old and quite smelly, the biggest issue by far was the reception staff, so rude and unhelpful, I understand there was a slight language barrier but it was really clear they had no interest in helping customers even with basic queries. I didn’t eat there but the drinks were disgusting. The only possible positive thing I can say is that the pool was actually okay.

Our experience I base it on the fact that we came x work and in winter. First good impact. Parking spaces are inside so safe. The decor in general both common parts and rooms are basic and unwelcoming. The green and well-kept. The structure consists of rooms and mini houses. Our room nothing special xro spacious. There's a bathtub with a curtain. The taps would need a makeover like the whole structure. "The closet" there are 2 doors and a wooden top... the back and a wall. There's a fridge, not a safe. Towels x mini shower. There are no supports around the face towel sink. Fortunately there is an elevator. Overall and clean and the staff friendly. The breakfast only sweet and basic... for health reasons I asked for slices of ham and kindly they also brought me cheese and eggs. Wifi as in most NI hotels. Good dinner. There is no lunch and x dinner only from Monday to Thursday. To go to eat you have to go back to the entrance "in winter if it's cold and raining".... there are cats running around... for me there are no problems they help to keep clean... only they are not very healthy. We would need to call someone to help them. As a conclusion and comfortable x work xché does not enter Brindisi... for sure it has 3 stars xché has a swimming pool, there are soldiers in front and it is a quiet area.

Probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The breakfast was completely awful. Horrendous coffee and dry cakes, no fruit or anything healthy at all. The rooms had the absolute basics and beds were like prison beds. There is a fridge but that is it. No kettle cutlery nothing.The shower and bathroom are poor, shower hardly works and the bath felt like it was going to fall through the floor. The staff were rude. Also there are a large number of cats living on the property who are wild and clearly in a lot of pain with no care, food or veterinary attention which says it all really. Kittens dying outside your hotel room is not great. The place should be shut down by animal cruelty charities. The hotel is absolutely miles from anything and only has cash only vending machines which just sell junk food. The only decent thing is the pool but 50% of the sunbeds are broken The place is like something from the 70s and how it has a 3 star rating i dont know.
