VOI Alimini Resort

At the request of the ownership itself, I am pleased to provide my point of view on our recent stay at the Voi Alimini Resort, a destination familiar to us as we have returned there with satisfaction several times until 4 years ago, when we tried Voi le Muse in Calabria with the same pleasure. I found the same strengths again this year: excellent hospitality, great cuisine with a vast selection, very efficient cleaning services and technical assistance for any small repairs in the room, superior rooms that are always well-equipped, pleasant and never intrusive daytime entertainment, as well as an all-inclusive formula that protects against any surprises regarding prices. The owning group has decided to focus on their second brand, BRAVO club, consolidating an offer that will absorb Voi and double the available destinations, to the full benefit of the clientele. I did not give a full rating because of a couple of minor problems that are easily remedied. The first concerns the assistance of the luggage handlers on the day of departure, which starts at 9, but with most of the staff arriving at 10. I would recommend starting at 8 to avoid creating difficulties for customers who have to return north from Florence and beyond. An increase in the available carts would also be necessary. I would also recommend removing the first two or three rows of umbrellas on the main beach in front of the Chiringuito from the shoreline, to allow children to be able to play without disturbing others. One last consideration regarding the evening shows. My wife and I remember with pleasure those from a few years ago, always varied and fun. This year's were excellent for the club kids, but definitely lackluster for the adults. I think I can say that the other guests agreed, given the audience attendance which rarely reached 40% of capacity, except for the unexpected and very welcome one by Arisa with standing room only. This takes nothing away from the beautiful vacation we spent, and the desire to return soon to visit some other destination, perhaps more exotic, of this fantastic organization.

I had already been to this property two or three times, the last time over three years ago. I was pleased to find the same strengths: excellent cuisine, good organization, impeccable room service for cleaning and any small technical problems, courteous and never intrusive entertainment during the day, as well as an all-inclusive formula in a superior room that eliminates any negative surprises regarding the costs of the vacation. The ownership group decided to launch a commercial formula centered on the BRAVO brand, which was completely unknown to me at the time of my last vacation, when VOI-Vera Ospitalità Italiana presented all its resorts around the world. I have the impression that this will become the only vacation proposal for the future, merging the facilities that were previously separate, with the consequent total increase in resorts. This could represent an advantage for the clientele, who would have a wider choice. I did not give a full score to the vacation because of a couple of problems that could certainly be improved. The main beach in front of the Chiringuito would need more space between the first two rows of umbrellas and the shoreline, to allow children more play space without disturbing the guests in those rows, who, moreover, are the ones who pay the most. I found the customer service at departure to be lacking. The luggage transport service starts at 9 AM, with the bulk of the guests arriving at 10 AM. This makes this aspect very problematic for departing guests who have to travel to locations from Florence upwards. the number of carts available should also be increased. Finally, a note on the evening shows, which I remembered as being very rich and entertaining. This year they were decidedly lackluster. I don't think it's just my impression, given that the audience attendance almost never exceeded 40%, except for the evening of the very welcome and unexpected concert by Arisa. All this takes nothing away from our vacation, and our desire to return to try some other destination, perhaps more exotic.

We just returned from a week at this village. Despite a new entertainment staff, we found a beautiful environment. As far as we are concerned, a special mention goes to the entire miniclub staff who welcomed our children and made them have fun and return with beautiful memories.
